Salopek injury?
Does anyone know the specifics of Salopek’s injury? Sounds like whatever the injury is it may have occurred during the Ball State game. If so, maybe he should have sat out the Pitt game as well. Just trying to gauge the severity of the injury and how long he’s gonna be out.

Didn’t he lay into someone for a run? Could be a shoulder than needs several days to heal. It can’t be that serious if they dressed him.

RE: Salopek injury?
He delivered a good shot on his long run at MSU and took a good hit to the back along the sidelines early in the Ball State game (left the game for a few plays and came back in). Could be related to one of those. I guess he was technically the “emergency” QB last night…which is a good descriptor for our current QB situation it appears.

He has a deep bruise on his throwing hand. I’m not sure when it occurred.
