I watched the video. It is true that there has been a lot of people moving to the South from the North. A lot of the low tax states are in the South like Florida and Texas. I find the weather is too hot in Florida or Texas in the summer. It seems like the weather is getting warmer and warmer and at some point it will be unbearable to live in these type of areas. New York city summers are hot enough for me. They did have stuff about migrants getting sent north to cities like Chicago. I guess I have not kept up with the whole migrant issue thing but I heard that Border guards are doing "Catch and Release".

Don’t worry. In a decade or two Southern cities will look like the Rust Belt burbs they are abandoning.

I love the stereotypes in this video about the same thing.

I haven't kept up with the sanctuary city thing so I can't really comment on those things. I suppose the rich will move out if they can but a lot of businesses will stay in those cities. For example New York is the biggest financial hub in the world so I do not think that is going to change. I suppose in smaller cities, companies may move, but these states are good at giving tax breaks to these companies so the companies will likely stay in those spots. Perhaps they may offer higher wages but people will move to these cities for good high paying jobs.

I think a lot of the cities in the south west may be in trouble with respect to the water situation. It is just not sustainable to keep growing those cities if the drought continues. If there is no water to support all of those people, cities like Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Los Angeles and central California need water. It would make sense for these cities to get people to move out to areas of the country without a water shortage problem. The hot weather in the south may cause people to move to more temperate climates in the future as it is my understanding that the world's climate is getting warmer and that will continue to happen until some of the greenhouse gases are curbed.
