First thing Trump should do is file an ethics complaint against Leticia James for abuse of office and misuse of public funds. He should also sue her personally at the same time so that he can run discovery on her conduct. Her public statements alone would substantiate a case---I imagine whats she's said in private emails is likely far more damning.

Aaaaand she's already gonna be sued, hopefully encompassing everything you outline above. Letisha (whatever that is) somehow got her hands on Gov. Haleys State and Fed tax returns and apparently released them to some complicit boot-licker media outlet. Likely the NY Slimes.

Her office/official capacity should be sued and xe personally needs to either be sued and/or brought up on criminal charges or both.

Exactly. Anyone ever get a loan from the bank? Did they just say "cool" when you said your collateral was worth 100 million---or did they say they would get it appraised? Every real estate loan made has an appraisal in the file that gives a market value estimated for the collateral property. You dont get to just walk in and tell them--"Oh yeah---"My home is worth at least 750 million." So---mark my words. In the end---this whole case is going to amount to a difference of opinion between the the NYAG's opinion of value and the real estate appraiser who did the appraisal in the loan file. Heck, Leticia even tweeted out that one of the problems is that Trump over valued his home because Trump claimed it was 30,000 square feet when her office knows its only 10,000 square feet. The first thing I thought of was----"I wonder when her office measured Trumps home?" I mean---surely they measured it before making such a charge, right? I'm betting right now that the 10,000 square feet figure Leticia is using is for one floor---and trumps penthouse makes up the entire top floor.......but I bet it turns out that the top floor penthouse is actually THREE full floors.

I do not see a viable cause of action here. And if one did materialize it is difficult to imagine how the defendant could be Donald John Trump.

I feel like Trump's been sued over inflating assets for loans before & nothing came of it.

Number one, valuation of real estate is not a single number proposition, but rather at best a range of values, with different persons reasonably reaching different valuations along that range.
Number two, any lender or taxing authority has the right to have its own appraisal and use that number instead of the one which may have been provided by the Trump organization.
Number three, all actions involved in this situation would almost certainly have been taken by people not named Donald John Trump.
Number three, because of numbers one, two, and three, the logical conclusion is that this is nothing more than some sort of partisan political hatchet job.
