This would've been the perfect year to have one of the money games be a bottom tier big 10 school. Might not get as much money but we'd still get a payout and have a strong chance of starting 2-2.

LOL Doesn't surprise me. I remember when Frank Gifford once referred to a player coming from Liberty Baptist State. I believe the quality of sports announcers has really declined over time.

I wholeheartedly agree! I think, with the proliferation of games being "broadcast" everywhere these days (i.e., television, streaming, radio, satellite radio, etc.), those organizations that are producing these "telecasts" have had to really scrape the bottom of the barrel of broadcasting talent to fill the roles for all of these games. Some of those broadcasters are really bad!

Agree , and often they are bad because they are paid next to nothing .
They are promised a chance to move up thru the ranks which never comes.
It is a lousy way to treat people. ESPN+ one of the worst offenders
