It's still hot outside, and apparently they want us working on our farmer's tans. Or it's all a plot to sell more water...

Don't worry they will make up for it by scheduling night games in November.

That’s because all the big schools do just the opposite.

It's because TV makes the schedule.

We’ll be there. Love the early morning games. With two kids we’ll be done before it’s too late and still have rest of day left..

Maybe, but many will be gone at halftime if the Temple game is as tedious to watch as the North Texas one. Even if the defense finds a few acorns to keep them from looking pathetic.

I have seen them for over 30 years of showing up late and leaving at half time. That is not new for tiger fans. Also, the defense haven’t been good for a long time.

Y'all gonna be real made when you realize we requested this time slot due to the next game being on Friday night.

Silly me.

I thought it was because we wanted to go head-to-head with the Ole Miss / Florida game.

Seems like the scheduling strategy of late is to schedule against the biggest area SEC game each week so we can show our dominance.

Nope. Want the extra time to prep. Doesn't seem like much but those few extra hours help w game planning and could mean the difference in a player being able to play after injury.

And this was told to me by an athletic dept. staff member.

That makes sense. We'll see if we schedule directly with the AL/TN game. If they do that then someone needs to be replaced.

RE: Temple game 11:00 am ESPNU
Some people love 11am games.
Some love 230 games.
Some love 6pm games.
Been this way for years, and for years, you complain if you don't get your preference.
When I lived out of town, I liked the 230 games.
Now I like them all.
