Same can probably be said for B12 as far as lack of big games. Outside of those schools fan bases not many outside the area are tuning in for the others on a regular basis.

Texas and/or Oklahoma versus Oklahoma State was something that even me in West Virginia wanted to watch. But Oklahoma State versus the other current/incoming Big12 schools? Just nothing that makes me want to make sure to see the game unless whoever they are playing happens to be good/ranked, and that changes year by year. Same with the PAC12 to a point. USC versus Oregon was something I'd make a point to try to see. Oregon versus the other Pac12 schools...not so much, again unless the other team is ranked or something. Sure, out west or wherever it's still a big deal, but nationally it just doesn't move the needle the same way. So the comment about there not being enough big games probably isn't far off. The SEC and Big10 are going to continue to have games that will keep the nation interested and wanting to see. What's left of the Pac12 and the Big10 not so much.

PAC 12 lost their two crappiest programs, Big 12 lost only one since Texas have sucked in football for more than a decade. Those 3 schools will be cupcake games for the top dogs in the Big 10 and SEC conferences.

Under what criteria are USC and UCLA the PAC 12’s crappiest 2 programs?

Ah yes - the old “Let’s show the most unattractive matchup and ignore all of the super-attractive opponents” argument to critique a conference realignment move. It happens every time there’s a conference realignment move and it’s always disingenuous.

So is bashing the Utes, who had very good ratings against Oregon last year. Last I checked Utah keeps adding on seats, doing their best to fill out Allegiant Stadium, and selling out every freaking game.

Games against Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Rutgers, maybe even Iowa who doesn’t seem overly thrilled with expansion are going to be no different.

UCLA fans don’t even want to show up right now, it’s weird and arbitrary from what a lot of casuals think.
