Rice Stadium Seat Policy
Good morning. Question for gracious visitor at your stadium later this afternoon.

1 - I ASSUME bringing portable stadium seats are allowed at Rice's stadium, correct?

2 - If #1 is a YES, is there some sort of size limitation? We have a couple regular small ones, but also one of those larger ones that's cushioned and you can transport on your back like a book sack. It's was always handy for those weekend long softball tournaments, but would something like that be too large for security to allow us to bring into the stadium.

Thank you!

I wish all your players a healthy, injury free game.

I bring in seats every week, no issue. Not sure about any size limitation.

There should be ample room unless the Cajuns bring 35k+ fans.

You may have to move around a little to find an empty spot to set up and if someone indicates you are in their spot (superstition lives), just apologize and move. The seat police are few and far between in HRS.

Welcome!

P.S. I have a Professor Emeritus that has had seats a couple rows in front of me for years. He always brings a stadium seat. This year’s model, which debuted last weekend, is quite wide, more than 1 1/2 times the distance between the numbers on the seats. Even with a decent crowd last weekend, there was no issue.

And as a fallback to those options there’s the south end zone which has been opened up again this season as General Admission
