Plenty of G5 coaches lately are looking sharp.

I think the HC at Georgia Tech is done if not soon for sure at the end of the year. If I were them I would already start feeling out Matt Rhule of the NFL Carolina Panthers. He should have stayed at Baylor for he had a really good team and one coming back when he left for the NFL. Also would look right there in Georgia ( Statesboro ) the HC of Georgia Southern Clay Helton who went to Nebraska and caused them to send Frost packing. Also would look at Coastal Carolina and Jamey Chadwell for he has a good offensive game plan and ready for another challenge most likely.

Yes this guy currently at GT took on a lot changing their offense which was primarily the wishbone format for a passing one. So the transition has been put in place for the next HC and their system, but really anyone coming there after Johnson and thought they would succeed was smoking something really good.

How about taking a chance on Scott Frost rather than taking a chance on a current G5 coach? He has already had a lot of success at the G5 level and he might come with a damaged goods price tag.

He was an Atlanta guy was an asst at GT. On paper it made sense. Whomever they hire is going to have to figure out how to get 4 star players to enroll in the institute and not at Georgia or Clemson.
