The future AAC (Rice, Charlotte, USB, and Memphis) were 4-0 today against the conference that tonight’s ESPN+ announcers called “the best G5 conference”.

The so called reported demise of the AAC may be premature…

Surely, that's a pre-game shot? I do see they've been under 30K for 2 of their 3 home games now this season (a bit over 27K in the opener, a bit over 29K yesterday). Troy Aikman says they should build a 32,000 seat on-campus stadium, but I find it hard to believe they could do that unless they get rid of a bunch of existing buildings on campus.

Looks like just before teams took the field for the anthem and kickoff. The tweet and replies talked about the restrictions to building an on campus facility.

Maybe they are all at the beautiful restrooms and easy to access concession stands.

Use the Drake footprint and some portion of the intramural fields just east?

Maybe they could incorporate the track and football stadiums together - that's really the only way. They don't have very many intramural fields to begin with (and I should know - I still have my nearly 40-year-old scar of the torn ligament I suffered as a football intramural ref back at UCLA in 1983 or so?).
