Really great start from the defense. But we need to pay this off. Can't have the defense give up <50 yards on the first three drives and the result be a 3-0 lead. Especially with great field position on all three drives.

No push or holes from the offensive line so far. Doesn't seem like Louisiana is selling out to stop the run, either.

Either la k of preparation or really stupid football. Maybe both.

It's on everybody. The coaches for calling a rush screen to the short side of the field. The coaches/players for the receivers lining up incorrectly at first. And then the players for not blocking. The *only* thing you can't do on a WR screen is miss your man.

Hey, look at that. A pitch back that goes for 15+. I like having Montgomery's change of pace from Broussard. Adds a good wrinkle to the offense when the line is blocking.

Haha. Incredible execution from Bloomgren's offensive line. Miss a free rusher and then McMahon throws it late and behind his receiver. If I was a Rice defender I'd walk off the field.

And, of course, it is eternally funny that Bloomgren chose not to run the ball on 2nd and a yard of all times.

Looked like Louisiana's QB could've easily run for that 1st down. Instead, an incomplete pass. But they'll go for it, which is evidently allowed.
