Funny how things can change in a week. Maybe they'll stay away this week. Sure we won't need to go to their board

clt says the silence from the lowly sunbelt will be appreciated.

Yep - they may have been overconfident this week. Even Appalachian needed a last-second hail Mary play to beat their FCS opponent, on their home field.

Ok it was a good day for AAC and a bad day for the Belt but that claim is false.

Although if you meant it as a joke it’s pretty hilarious 03-wink

Not sure what you mean - seemed like a pretty good day for the AAC to me, with the exception of the Houston loss - - or at least the best day in a sub-optimal season to date - - if we include the successes of the CUSA6.

Which claim is false, or is it possible that you're the one who's joking? 04-cheers

Yeah, it’s 2022 and just ‘cause you’ve never heard of a team doesn’t mean they’re not FBS!
It’s an easy mistake to make.
I might still have to borrow the “joke” though.

Unfortunately we lost to them in the NOLA bowl back in ‘06 so I know them “too well”.

To date, the CUSA6 collectively have a losing record. Of their wins, 40% are against FCS opponents. Of their losses, one was against mighty William and Mary. The average margin of OOC defeat is 23.2 points.

Say what you will about Wm & Mary, just know that they handled Lafayette by 27 points yesterday.
The same Lafayette that Temple only handled by 16 the week prior.

And Temple is just two points shy of a B1G team.

So therefore William and Mary is better than Rutgers, and would be at least a mid pack B1G team, if they’d let them in, which of course they won’t.

Your post is a good example of the lowered standards set by the newcomers. Tiger fans were filled with shame for our defeat years ago to Tenn Tech and demanded better performance. There was no excuse for it and there is no excuse for Charlotte either. SMH.

My bad - It was Duke that beat an FCS team, not App. State
