Boise State, Houston, Cincinnati, and UCF all lost already. I don't think any G5 is playing in any big games this season.

Maybe Air Force...

Baylor had 14 penalties for 117 yards and lost in double OT.

Fresno St uses its two timeouts to try and ice Oregon St and Oregon St just decided to go for it and scores a TD to win the game. Oregon St. has a bunch of tiny but speedy players. Fresno State QB is really good and has a strong arm.

The MAC should move down to FCS. And, we’d have a tough time winning there.

Here are the G5 OOC records through two weeks.

Sun Belt: 18-10
American: 11-9
CUSA: 11-11
Mountain West: 12-14
MAC: 7-15

FAU and UMass are the only FBS wins for the MAC and the remaining wins are over FCS. The MAC also leads all FBS conferences with two losses to FCS schools.

The MAC needs new leadership. The conference has had the same commissioner for over a decade and the MAC is about as bad as it has ever been. The MAC signed the crappy midweek ESPN deal over ten years ago and has done nothing of note since to improve the conference.

MAC is tied with MWC for FCS losses. Utah St got steamrolled by Weber St and Nevada lost by 2 TDs to a school called Incarnate Word.

Yes, the MAC has needed new leadership since that damn ESPN deal was signed. Steinbrecher is doing nothing for the conference except collect a paycheck. And the conference member sheep go along with the con.

No love for Sun Belt. Both Marshall and App St not in top 25.

App St almost has two wins vs. P5 meanwhile TA&M's only win is vs. FCS but they are still ranked in top 25.

Marshall is 2-0 and not top 25 but somehow ND is still receiving votes as an 0-2 team lol.

ND could go 0-12 and still get votes because……well, they are ND!

Maybe Air Force...

You do realize the highest ranked G5 is guaranteed a NY6 game right?

Good thing then, because the poll voters are doing their best to keep G5 schools out of top 25.

NIU has a win vs. FCS and close loss to G5. We deserve to be ranked #24 like A&M.

BYU isn't G5 as we have been told by posters who post our 2-11 record vs. G5 teams in last 10 years. Otherwise we have wins vs. BYU and Army, if they are considered G5.

Marshall has as good a chance as any G5 to get to a NY6 bowl. Their two remaining non-conference games are against cupcakes and their toughest opponents in the Sun Belt (Louisiana, Coastal Carolina and App State) all have to come to Huntington.

Toledo is 2-0. Why aren’t they ranked? Must be an oversight that I’m sure will be corrected tomorrow (with an apology).

13-7 USA

So you personally have never heard of the University of South Alabama, many of their fans probably don't know if we're NIU or UNI. They have an outstanding baseball stadium and are quite competitive in a number of sports so I'll never understand why we have fans who insist on taking shots at programs they are not familiar with.
