I don’t know…some of those 90’s Miami and FSU teams could really thump some of the “scrubs” on their schedules. Nearly a 45-point margin almost seems merciful. Like OSU would pump the breaks after 35-42 points?

Well, it will be the 2nd and 3rd string playing the game for much of the 2nd half ... the point spread suggests the punters figure that putting in the 2nd and 3rd string won't slow down the scoring by all that much.

But it does make me feel not quite as bad about the over 32 point spread for Kent State visiting the Palace on the Prairie tonight. #FlashFast

In 2019, Ohio State was favored by 52 over Rutgers. That was a conference game. And-get this- the game was actually at Rutgers.


In 2012, FSU was favored by 70.5 over Savannah State. That seems to be the all time record. That game was suspended with 8:59 left in the third quarter due to rain, with FSU leading 55-0. I wonder if that seriously counted as a cover for Savannah State.

I can’t believe that Texas did running plays for something like the first three plays of that drive.

It's going to be an interesting second half. Saban is going to have to adjust and coach. Alabama's size and speed are equaled. Sarkesian took advantage of Alabama's center's blocking assignments to get penetration. He didn't miss blocks. He was tricked into making the wrong ones.

Saban is going have to adjust on the fly. IMO, the second half rests upon his decisions.
