After a conservative performance and lack of result vs Ole Miss in Week 1 the Trojans are hosting in-state HBCU Alabama A&M this Saturday. ESPN gives Troy a 99.3% chance at victory. Last week UAB absolutely manhandled A&M to a score of 59-0.

This should be an easy game for Sumrall and the coaching staff to let it rip offensively to gain some confidence before traveling to Boone next Saturday.

We'll probably score in the 50s, and we still won't know a whole lot about our offense. A&M's defense is DIII quality. We'll know more about our defense this week. I'd like to see us match what UAB did.

Agreed. Again the offensive needs to put points up to gain confidence. Specifically need Watson to throw for 300 yards and 3 TDs to make himself feel good

Time to see what Jarrett Doege and Peter Costelli bring to the table.

Troy looks bad all around. I hate to say it, but we are not good.

Yeah. I had hope but this team isn’t good. I hate the Neal Brown Troy doesn’t exist in this Sun Belt with all the attention we are getting.

Troy up 28-3 in the 3rd. Still not happy. Glad we will likely get the "W" though and avoid an FCS upset.

Troy up 38-17. Not happy with this at all. We will have to improve a lot if we want to make a bowl.

In the FIRST HALF... Troy has 19 pass plays, and 16 run plays. Scored 7 points.

In the SECOND HALF... Troy had 31 pass plays, and 3 run plays. Scored 31 points.

Troy had 31 straight pass plays in the second half.

Looks like the coaches realized this offense is still built for passing, and not so much for running.... I fully expect to see a higher passing ratio moving forward.
