Looks like Gabbert will be out for a significant period of time. The backup is a RS freshman who will be getting his first live snaps this weekend.

AJ Mayer transferring in the offseason really hurts now.

I haven't checked.

Is this the year we take the lead in the series?

Yes, it's currently tied-up at 59-59-7.

And then cancel the series or 2-1 or 3-1 in the future.

This year, Miami should make a good deal of $$$ playing this game at PBS. I don't mind the 2-1 or 3-1 if the one is always played at PBS.

I hate going to Paycor. End the series.

I don't mind it every 2-3 years, & I'm sure the players like playing in an NFL stadium from time to time.

I didn't follow it very closely but it seemed like Miami lost a ton of talent in the portal (not to mention graduation) so I was kind of surprised to see many picking them to be near the top of the MAC. I mean Ivan Pace, Jr. alone was a monumental loss.

(BTW, I checked and it looks like Mayer joined Butch Jones at Arkansas St.)

"If you play well, then it becomes a four quarter battle from a physical standpoint. It’s better if you don’t play well and things get out of hand"

WOW! never heard a coach talk this way
