I am hearing that the Zimmerly kid has some more nice offers coming in… Hopefully he sticks with the Rockets …
Waldendzak is going to be a really good one , either at rb or on D somewhere !!
I will see both when they play Maumee HS where my son coaches…

QB depth seems to grow every year. Takats still going bball? I don't believe Ohio has a limit to OTs in football. Lichtenberg doesnt get hurt 2nd down in OT that game might still be going. The prize right now I imagine is the Central QB. He's darn good at bball also.

Seems like recruiting will take a shift in focus. Do you go after the guys that are left out of the Power 5 radar and commits - and then face the real likelihood of losing them to the portal for a nice NIL future at a Power 5 that signed recruits that don't work out? Those guys will be replaced with proven talent from the "minor leagues" of the mid-majors, etc.

Just saw before the ND-OSU game where CJ Stroud bought all of his teammates a $500 (via gift card) suit to wear on game day. Paid for by his NIL deals.
The P5 of NCAA football is equivalent to being the AAA minor leagues of the NFL. The mid-majors and others are essentially the Class A farm system - no money, and talent that stays for a couple of years before being "called up" to a AAA team via the portal. Think Toledo would have hung on to Kareem Hunt for 4 years if the NIL had been around when he played?

NIL maybe hasn't been around long enough to give a good baseline on that. NIL for a recruit vs. a transfer? Are there any anecdotes? QB is the position to watch, the position with the most top program to top program transfers.
