It's been far too long. I'm ready for the SBC era of Marshall Athletics to start!

I'm happy with what I saw. I know it was an FCS team, but Colombi seemed very capable and he commanded the offence like he has been the starter for a couple of years. Ethan Payne was a great surprise as was Laborn. The D looked really good.

The attendance was a great for it being against Norfolk State, but I think the game day atmosphere needs a little more work. The intro for the team to run out on the field was kind of weak. They need to announce "bring on the Herd!" or something. They just ran out on their own so it was a little weird. They've cut back on the obnoxious ads that they used to force on us. I do wish the band would play more between plays and during time outs. Praise the Lord the DJ is gone from the stadium this year... Hallelujah! Midway hotdogs didn't disappoint 03-wink Ava Rash is a much improved replacement for Jason Toy I might add.
