Not a very impressive showing by CUSA teams this week.

FIU needed overtime last night to escape Bryant 38-37.

And it's looking like Charlotte (minus their QB who is hurt) is going to lose at home to William & Mary.

Rice doesn't play FIU this year (who is the lone team to be picked below Rice in most of the preseason polls). We host Charlotte on October 29th.

People keep saying Rice doesn’t play FIU this year as of there’s no chance that we meet in the conference championship game.

At 100:1 odds each to win the title, I figure there’s at least a 1/10,000 shot of a Rice-FIU football game this year.

And if it happened we’d *so* win cause those guys frankly aren’t that good

That last ODU offensive series was impressive. They never gave up. Very gutsy drive to win it. I’m not sure how good V Tech is this year but big kudos to the Monarchs on that win.

? That gave me a good laugh but that is exactly what I'd be saying about FIU if that happened

Watching the Aggies and SHSU at Kyle Field. Ags up 7-0 with 6:45 to play in the1H. SHSU QB is elusive which is keeping them in the game. Aggies offense has been unimpressive so far ex a long TD pass. I’m guessing the Bearcats would be a tough matchup for the Owls.

Well, the Owls could schedule the DIII Austin College Roos and try to avenge their most lopsided loss ever, 81-0, in 1912.
