6 top conf champs, next 6 at large.

I guess it's a win and a loss. Get a non P5 conf, but you need to hope one P5 folds to get 2 of the current FBS.

If they go 16 would be nice to let other conf champs in. But again, this realignment at the moment is a problem.

Definitely a mixed bag of nuts for the G5, but glad we have at least one G5 team in from from day 1, fun stuff.

Wondering if one of the P5 folds, if they greedy P5b*tches simply insist to change it to 5 conf champs, 7 at large?

This is better news! Under these rules the Orange Bowl Huskies would have been in the playoff.

So in other words, it will probably be 11 P5 schools (5 of 6 for P5 champions and P5 for the 6 at large spots) in the 12 spots. Still don't care for the playoff committee. This is still a system that will greatly benefit the P5.

It literally has to have at least one G5 school as there are only 5 power conferences and they are taking the 6 highest conference champions. If the MAC and Sunbelt have conference champions ranked higher than the ACC and PAC 10 they both would get in under this mode. It’s better than the current situation.

If the 2003 team had ran the table, NIU would have probably would have hosted a playoff game at Huskie Stadium in December!!!! They were 10 BCS before losing.........

The lowest seeded team with a home game would have #8. Number #10 would have played on the road at #7.
