Tough loss, Roadrunners but that was a great game by both teams and QBs.

I'd say, despite the loss, UTSA is, probably, the favorite for the conference title.

This one stings. I feel we were the better team. That stupid penalty when we had them stopped dead in the water lost it for us.

lol---Never thought watching football on a couch could be so ridiculously stressful. No quit in either of those teams. That was a heck of a game. The UTSA QB reminds me of Greg Ward. UTSA is going to win a lot of games this year and the atmosphere at the Alamodome couldnt have looked better on TV. I think a lot of good things are coming for the Roadrunners.

On the last 2 pt conversion by UH, I thought the UTSA defender should have tried to tackle Tune straight up instead of lunging at him.

its all muscle memory and instincts and i believe its harder to switch at a moments notice. it all depends on the timing of the jumper jump to early and you leave enough time for the defender to react but if you try to tackle standing up you get can easily get knocked back a couple of yards from a runner running straight into your chess with his head down.
its all about timing. cant fault a player for that.

I get that but he was trying to decapitate Tune and we've seen so many times when a tackler lunges at receiver said player just jumps over him.

But I agree with you that it is instinctive.
