Nice effort. UC Davis went from a 3-0 tournament at Montana to a pretty sad showing in Oregon. But I have a feeling the teams in Montana weren't very good (one of them was UTA, and they're usually decent in the women's sports, but maybe not in volleyball this season).

Regardless, Oregon tomorrow should be a real test of where this team is at.

The app is down so I just got back to catch the action. Glad to see Ellie is back, though it looks like Genny is going to ease back in. Arguably Maruska best all-around match as an Owl....and good to see Anota back in form after a disappointing match at LSU. McCardell again playing outstanding defense. She looks to have raised her game to the next level this year.

UC-Davis hit just .024 for the match (17 kills vs. 15 errors), and added 7 service errors and 5 reception errors. We hit .304 for the match, with 43 kills vs. 12 errors, and hit a dominant 73% on sideouts.

Now for the measure up test at #18 Oregon tomorrow night. We beat the Ducks and we're borderline Top 25 in next week's poll. So long as we win at least one set we should gain several more votes and move within the Top 30.

And Courtley's kill attempts are weak at best.

This is painful to watch. Oregon has quality kill attempts every time; whereas we either pass up kill attempt or hit weakly. We're lucky it's only 11-15. We're hitting .038. Anota is our only offense.
