Still feels like we should be popping Champaign after every first down.

Do they know they're allowed to block people?

It has been nearly 140 minutes of game time since GT scored a single touchdown on Clemson's defense. This game is effectively over.

Can 12 consecutive scoreless quarters get Brent Key fired? Pretty please?

No, he must have polaroids of C****** in compromising positions.
Thacker has them too.

Based on what I've seen so far if Brent Key were fired at the end of this game I'd actually cut Geoff some slack. He'd still be SOL at the end of the season. But I'd honestly be less loud about it until the very end. So far this game I've seen actual improvement everywhere but the OL ... which is unfathomably putrid.

This is the same Brent Key that said he was 100% confident in his O-line a week or so ago!

I want whatever he's smoking.

141:32 of gametime without a touchdown against Clemson. I hope Chip Long, Chris Weinke have adjustments for the 2nd half. I hope Brent Key decides to retire.

Geoff Collins lost his testicles and his ability to manage game clock all at the same time in the final minute of the first half. ESPN crew roasting him on air for it.

Every time GT successfully runs a screen pass a Dave Patenaude scar is healed.

Chip Long is a massive yawning chasm of an upgrade from Dave Patenaude. That is, however, a very low bar.

Twitch plays Offensive Coordinator would have been an upgrade.

And this is where quality depth really shows. We don't have it.

RE: Week 1 Open Thread
The Good:
- Seeing successful screen passes is almost erotic after suffering through 3 years of Patterdude.
- A QB run game that isn't a zone read every other snap.
- Jeff Sims seems to be genuinely improved ... though consistency is still a struggle.
- Oh my god a pass rush. With actual sacks and TFL. It's been *SO* long..... Tenuta defenses in the mid-00's probably.
- The LB appear solid. The DL, to my shock, might be solid. Secondary? Ehhhh. But it's not as woeful as last year.

The Bad:
- Pretty thin overall. Injuries or even just a high snap count game are unsustainable.
- Pre-snap penalties. LOTS of 'em. The Clemson NT could shift, fart, sneeze, cough, or just say boo and half the line can't hold their water.

The Ugly:
- OL ... all of it.
- TE ... all of them.
- Geoff Collins appears to come from the Les Miles School of Clock Mismanagement
- Brent Key being highly confident in the OL in his interview a few weeks ago

I'd say fire the special teams coordinator but we don't have one... and it shows.

We had no STs coordinator last year and it was a disaster.

In 4 seasons at GT G**** C****** has scored 39 points on Clemson. Clemson in those four years has passed that number three times.

The two games in Greenville and Boone today show why UNC and State don't need these games.

Because losing to out of state non power teams is so much better?

I will forever not understand takes like these

How many times in the last 40 years have you played at EKU or WKU? How many times have you played at all in the last 40 years. If not, why not?
We play WKU regularly in both basketball and football. Also, EKU is FCS, and so was WKU until 2008, so swing and a miss.

Also, we arent afraid to play them anyway

http://www.winsipedia.com/louisville/vs/...n-kentucky

Maybe winsapedia is wrong, but they indicate that you have not played at WKU since 1954. In the last 60 years you have played them just 13 times and never in Bowling Green.
And again, they werent even been in the same division in football until 2008, seems fairly regular for a lower division team.

We've also played them 3 times since 2018. So my point stands, we play them regularly, and are not afraid to do so
