If WMU gets knocked out, I know how I'm choosing. That was the context that I framed the topic, I'll try and type it more slowly for you next time.

I like college soccer and all but it's such a miniscule number of viewers to begin with, especially talking people who watch more than just their school, that I'm not sure the timing makes a ton of difference.

The final four does pretty well with hard core soccer fans. Thinking this year will be a fraction.

They have really played a brand of smart, hard nosed football these last two matches. Very savvy, high skill level and fun to watch.

Let me know if you can read that. I can you help you sound it out if necessary.

When he doesn’t understand context and chose to go nasty.
It’s not about you. Think you might want to sit this out.

Right, I'm the one with the history of getting personal and getting myself banned over & over again.

LOL, what are you talking about now? You can't stay on topic. Read the thread, you can't grasp the relevant sidebar subject that I brought up, and made it about you. You got impertinent.
Sorry you're having a hard time keeping up tonight.

Outside perspective here, but "I'll try and type it more slowly for you next time" unexpectedly came out of nowhere. Nothing Minor said came across as combative or nasty.

Please. That was a reply to a direct nasty shot at my observation and relaying that people said they wouldn't be watching much soccer because the WC was on in the same weeks and I thought it was unfortunate.
I didn't say "it hurt college soccer". He knew what he was doing, and still does.
Won't work.

I'm having no trouble keeping up. I disagreed with your point. That's all I did. I didn't explain to you how you can't read or can't comprehend things. You inserted that into the conversation because that's what you do.
Anyways, I'm happy the Broncos made the Sweet 16. Awesome accomplishment. Let's stay on topic. Not gonna let your nonsense hijack this thread anymore.

You put words in my mouth. I never said it hurt college soccer. LMAO!!
Please, do better next time, but nice try. That was a nonsense reply, what should i do, say "Oh, he's having a bad day without his readers" and let that slide? You knew what you were doing.
Way to trash a good thread about the soccer team going to the sweet 16 with no bye.

Back on topic, it looks like Portand will be our next opponent. They're up 2-0 over Oregon St with less than 3 to play.

RE: WMU Men's Soccer
So it's Portland. Obviously if Oregon St. had won we'd be going out there. With both WMU and Portland unseeded I'm not really sure if this game might be in Kalamazoo. WMU recap of the last game says location TBD and I'm not aware of any "official" NCAA seeding beyond the top 16.
Edit: dug around a bit. Portland will host

RE: WMU Men's Soccer
Here are the times on the Sweet 16 match-ups.
Kentucky - Pittsburgh 6:00pm
WMU - Portland 8:00pm
Syracuse - Cornell 2:00pm
Vermont - UCLA 7:00pm
Stanford - UNCG 8:00pm
Indiana - Marshall 7:30pm
Duke - FIU 1:00pm
Tulsa - Creighton 7:00pm
The World Cup is being played in Qatar, which means it is 8 hours ahead of the eastern time zone.
There are only two matches that can conflict with a WC match: Duke-FIU (1:00pm) & Syracuse-Cornell (2:00pm). Those matches would be 9:00pm & 10:00pm Qatar time.
WMU-Portland at 8:00pm on 11/26 will be played while everyone in Qatar is sleeping.
