My goodness.

What a terrible spot. How can the ref who is 20 yards away up field, make that spot?

He is playing the hybrid LB/Safety that they call Huskie

He’s playing the “husky” position. It’s like having an extra safety in the box

That's probably better for him. I thought Dolphin was starting in that spot? ?

What have we learned about the defense so far??? That they are really good as long as it isn't 3rd and 11...

Some bad tackling by the Huskies. Hopefully that will be cleaned up. Nothing from Pugh.

I know it's the 1st quarter of the 1st game, but not like what I'm seeing on D

Our much improved D? That one? Yeah, need to see much better. I think they get going soon

I feel like a defense should just work and the words "get going" applies more to an offense who needs a rhythm or momentum.

This is either coaching or personnel or both.

Either way, it's inexcusable.

Way to cutesy with the 3rd down defensive calls so far. Just line up and play ball, stop trying to out-smart, let your athletes play...

Got it. Not crazy about it so far haha. Looks like he missed a gap on the 3rd down run

Also, take Hansen out. He's missed 3 tackles already

I’m going to give them the “first game” excuse. Goofy stuff happens in game 1. Let’s let them get settled

Yeah I feel like he’s below average in coverage and against the run. I see the value in the position but don’t think he is “it”

Thought offensive line would dominate more. Still early but a lot of short runs
