RE: 2022 Fall Sports
Men and Women's swimming beat La Salle.

Field Hockey won 2-1 over Lafayette then upset #20 W&M 1-0 and are 8-5 (1-1)

Men's soccer beat Delaware 3-1 and are 5-3-3 (3-2-1)

Women's soccer had quite the scoring fest ending in a 4-4 draw with Stony Brook and are now 9-1-4 (4-1-1)

Upcoming this week:
Men's golf is out in California

Women's Soccer has a massive week ahead starting with the game Thursday in Boston against Northeastern. Both teams are tied atop the conference. Then they have Monmouth on Sunday (Monmouth is 3rd in the CAA behind us and NU). So a chance to pull away or fall back to the crowd

Men's soccer has Monmouth Saturday which is a game really needed to stay in the top 4. Its a tight race to make the CAAT, can't slip up here

Men and Women's crew have the Navy Day regatta on the beautiful Schuykill

Field Hockey is at Towson Sunday

RE: 2022 Fall Sports
For those who remotely pay attention, it is funny how fickle the sport of soccer can be. On the men's side

UNCW is clearly all over the place. They beat us and South Carolina (who tied a ranked Duke{current #3)} and lost by 1 to #1 at the time Clemson{currently #18}) pretty easily and tied UNC. But then they also tied Delaware and just lost 2-0 to Queens. That same Queens team lost by 2 goals to South Carolina

W&M is coming on strong but has also been all over the place. We beat them 4-1 (which is clearly an outlier for both teams). They also lost by 2 goals to Coastal Carolina (who has tied some really good teams like Marshall{#4} and West Virginia) and then turn around an upset #10 Wake Forest. Wake now has 2 losses, #3 Duke and W&M

Even our own squad is all over the place. From beating W&M badly, to losing to UCNW badly to tying St Joes (who just lost 4-0 to Hofstra but managed a tie against #17 Dayton{#22}, the same Dayton who tied #2 Kentucky{#2} and who hasnt lost yet this season)

Just shows the parity (I think) in the DI ranks of soccer. But something I found interesting. Hofstra is receiving votes for the top 25 despite not playing a very difficult schedule(Hofstra fell in their rivalry game to Stony Brook despite SBU being one of the weaker CAA teams this season)

RE: 2022 Fall Sports
Women's soccer tied 2-2 against Northeastern and move to 9-1-5 (4-1-2)

It is now a 3 way tie in first with us NU and Monmouth. Massive game tomorrow (10/15) in Jersey. NU gets Delaware and then finish with Monmouth while we get Delaware. So really the regular season title is up for grabs. We win (we should beat Delaware and so should NU) and we really are likely to be champs. A tie the best we are going to hope for is co-champs and a loss essentially puts us out of contention for the regular title.

Women's soccer lost to Monmouth 2-0 and beat Delaware 2-1 finishing 10-2-5 (5-2-2) and in a tie for 2nd with NU clinching the #2 seed and face 7th seeded W&M in the CAAT

RE: 2022 Fall Sports
I dont have flo but live stats show about 10 minutes left up 2-1. 17-7 shots in favor of us (8vs3 on goal), so sounds like their keeper with 6 saves is having a good game and we are not putting the game away.

RE: 2022 Fall Sports
On the women's soccer front, 8th seeded Hofstra ends up knocking of NU to win back to back titles. Last team in and got hot at the right time.
