No deal. Lesbians are protecting women's sports. I'm proud of them. They know what they are and admit it. They are protecting their turf.

Article from a lesbian advocacy group explaining the "tension" between lesbians and transsexuals. Part of the problem appears to be transsexuals on lesbian dating sites and such. Causing confusion. In addition it seems that some lesbians, at least the ones belonging to this organization, resent the push that exists in the gay/bisexual/transsexual community to refer to transsexuals as female. They also claim that this community is pressuring lesbians to have sex/ relationships with transsexuals. Keep in mind this is only one perspective from one side.

There is a growing war coming from the strong feminists/lesbians and trans communities for many reasons. I work with a very nice lesbian woman and one her biggest issues with the trans community is something tigercity pointed out. If you are a lesbian and do not date trans women you are labeled a biggot. She thinks it's insanity. She doesn't like men, she is physically not attracted to dick. The gay/lesbian communities have been fighting for decades for freedom to everyone to love who they want and then the modern trans movement comes along and now demands people be attracted to people they are not or you are "unaccepting"

Bottom line. The Lesbians know what everyone else knows. Transexuals are mentally ill...confused..ect ...and although they have tried to supportive...they really don't want to be lumped in with them. Being a Lesbian does not mean being stupid.

I beg to differ but everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think all those groups in the Alphabet Soup are mentally ill but I support the Lesbies in not wanting men playing in womens sports...thasall.

it's interesting that the lefties rarely show up to these threads. I'll guess that they haven't developed focus group talking points that are in any way effective at countering the argument that it's wrong to have boys cut off their dicks and girls to get mastectomies, to have toddlers exposed to mentally ill freaks at "story hours", or to have open air (all but) sex orgies on the streets of our cities every year. Hopefully more of the normal gays and lesbians will speak out against this ****.
