Yeah, I think that's procedural for UC in the backfield mesh. The QBs have always kept eyes on the end, even if it's an obvious outside power or counter too...keeps them honest and occupies rhe backside end enough to give guys a shot at a hole. Problem is, that backside end was diving in from the start because he read the pull from guard.

Now back in reality, about half of the AP voters had us ranked in the mid teens. Even with a close loss, many of them will keep us in their Top 25s...we won't be ranked, but I'd expect us to be in the Top 30, meaning if we get to 3-1 and look good doing it, we will be back in the Top 25.

Yeah if anyone was expecting or hoping for playoffs they're nuts. This is probably going to be a repeat of 2019 where the aaccg is between UC/UH/UCF all ranked in the teens or twenties and winner gets the ny6

Won the second half, could’ve won the game. Clean up the mistakes and they will be fine. Very few teams go undefeated, it’s what they do after this game that matters. I thought they’d lose a close game and they did, it’s not the end of the season. Looking forward to the home opener.

Last year was basically a freak occurrence. The system is designed to favor P5 programs. The realistic ceiling for a G5 is the access bowl.

why aren't our bearcats using their helmet chin straps? we had over 10 times of helmets falling off and one with a bearcat celebrating a TD. Wear the stinking Straps. Do head coaches usually let the players decide?

Reading full sentences is hard. If we lose again we have 0 shot at a NY6 bowl. If we play an unranked multi loss team for the CCG I wouldn't be shocked if we get left out if NY6 as well

They are wearing chinstraps, they likely are just wearing them loose.

You have to think there was some sort of helmet malfunction or something. I've never seen that many helmets come off for 1 team

True - If BYU only loses 2 games though it would be hard to keep them out with the schedule they have.
