Dear Friends,
How are fans attending a game going to be able to identify a player without a program? The names on the backs of the jerseys lose their identification of a player after a certain distance.
I just can't believe we are going in the direction of no programs.

DP is now a witness in the cold (pizza box) case.

Ken,
Two ways - Either print out the roster before heading to the stadium or pull up the roster on your phone during the game.

Dear WoodenNickle,
Thanks for the suggestions, but to me if we have to bring our own programs, I guess I should bring my own hot dogs as well.

My thoughts: It isn't the cost so much as it requires human resources to pass out 10K copies of something covering both the west and east stands.
Now if EMU has volunteers like the good ole days when Bill Fennel was a volunteer doing this kind of thing free.
All of that said, I AGREE with Ken that a back to back page with the 2-deeps on the front and the entire roster on the back is a good thing.
We do want folks saying, is Jose Rameriz playing WR? Doesn't look like he only weighs 174 lbs.
Oh, we have a #4 on offense and on defense...

NIU already did that. It's pretty sad. I think last couple years they had sort of a "yearbook" which was kind of a program, but didn't change from one game to the next. And I don't think they were even available every game. Not sure if it was the cost, or the lack of people to sell them.

Vehicle styling in those days was not as restricted by safety standards and MPG concerns as they are now, just ask Lucky. That was the 'golden age" of the automobile. Cadillacs were not merely an upscale Equinox, Suburban or Traverse. They were the gold standard. A different time for sure.

I agree. The again, Ken, we are probably prehistoric in our outlook due to our advanced age. I presume that you, like me, wanted your season tickets in print version instead of sent to our mobile device. Ken we may be out of time and out of place on this issue.
