They finished #17 in the AP Poll in 2020 and have won three straight bowl games. Anyway they went for two to win the game on their final possession and Wake stuffed them & held on.

Southern Illinois is a good team. They were a preseason top 10 team. But going 0-2 headed into this game fits the bill for a slow start. Great win today though.

Owen Wright's statline is kinda wild: 21 carries, 76 yards, 7 TDs. He also has 2 receptions for 28 yards and a TD. I haven't really watched any of Monmouth's games, but Wright is 3rd on the team in attempts and yards, but first (by a mile) in TDs.
