I don't "hate" Toledo, I think it's ridiculous to the point of parody. NIU has owned the MAC for some time, but Toledo is always anointed as the best team.

Toledo has a superb PR/marketing department that gives the media wags extra "incentive" to write how great Toledo is and pick them for winning everything. We could win 15 MAC championships in a row, and Toledo would still be picked as the cream of the MAC. It's all PR and greasing the right palms.

Who cares? I'm more concerned about the Huskies winning MACC and a bowl game.

It’s a 247 ranking. I’m sure it’s primarily based on their talent composites which is purely based on the recruit ranking.

The bottom line, the MAC is a horrible conference. The truth hurts.

I think the MAC is very comparable to the Sunbelt and CUSA at the very least. 247 has to name someone last, they chose us, so f*ck those guys and the horses they rode in on...

The poster boys for G5 powerhouses is App state and Coastal Carolina. Did the amazing Coastal blow the doors off the lowly Mac champs? Those guys lost more players than CMU and the prognosticators have them around 50 in the rankings. Whatever - flavor of the month club

Right? The MWC ranked 9TH is wrong. Fresno, Boise, Air Force, SDSU, Utah State. C'mon....thats better than APP st, CC and Louisiana. Also better than UAB, W. Ken and UTSA. I know the writer complained about their depth, but if that's what he's going on then NIU should be higher than MWC.

Facts. We won the MAC with an All Freshman team. LOL. We are the best of the worst, which is obvious come bowl season. It’s on us to help elevate MAC play.

What are we really debating here? The MAC is 5 - 12 against the Sun Belt head to head the last five years. If the MAC wants to get out of the FBS cellar then the conference needs to start winning more OOC games. If the MAC wants more respect as a conference then win more games.
