Thing that stand out about their team is their talent. Even their transfers from top P5's note their talent and depth.

Three deep at many positions with players that they can win with.

They can both run and pass at a very high level, and that is a game changer for 2022.

QB James Blackman is a big-time QB, and playing at a very high level and is surrounded by P5 Talent at every position on that side of the ball.

Defense is a work in progress, but most of their projected starters have experience- many transferred in from a P5. Will be relying on young players for depth on the DL, but very athletic overall. Still much better than at this point last year.

Butch Jones has been able to flip their roster, and this team is already dominated by his players, recruited to play his style of ball, and in his culture, and it shows.

Like most SBC teams, the Transfer Portal, plus the improved brand recognition of the SBC among HS and JC recruits, has resulted in them being noticeably more athletic than they were just a year or two ago, but no SBC team has upgraded their roster talent more than Butch Jones has.

They may very well be the most talented team in the SBC this year, and there is no SBC team they don't have the talent to beat. At the end of last year Butch Jones was confident he could make sure that would be the case this year, and feels strongly that he has done just that. So do the folks that have seen this years team, and so will the teams that they play.
