Short and sweet report. The practice was moved indoors due to Tstorm threats. More of a practice than scrimmage. No tackling for the 1s and 2s although the 3s and 4s did tackle at the end.
Overall the offense showed it's strength early and often. Defense showed up in the middle before the O came back again. The offense is taking advantage of the players skills and should appear different than in year's past.
Tucker is going to have a good year if practice is any indication (hint: it usually is).
Rocky will run it if the DE crashes on RB handoffs. He is faster than I recall.
2s Offense Hampton, Blakemore, Travis, 17 Reed or Crawford (would love it if some could clear this up for me), Kacper and/or Gumbs. Actually saw Gumbs with the 1s on occasion. Dozier toalso with the 2s. Dozier is a RB who catches passes.
Ozoh was seen with the 1s. Not too surprising that he received his scholarship announcement after practice. He was given lots of opportunities and made plays.
Roy Williams is huge. Lafayette was spotted with Hansen with the 1s.
Jalen Johnson and Tristan Tewes didn't practice.
Lots of ST practice today.
3s and 4s finished up practice with scrimmage and tackling.
Cremascoli threw a pick to Louis Frye near end of scrimmage. He bounced back and led team down field culminating in a TD pass to Pipkin to end practice. Pipkin has made plays in the practices I watched this fall.
(Article below also mentioned how far Gumbs has come along with other names to know.
