Nevada 23, NMSU 12, was last night’s final.

NMST out played them but like UTEP could not put points on the board when they had the chance...2 or 3 times inside the 30 and failed to score

NMSU started the wrong QB. Shoulda went with that Frosh from Harvard. Kid looked pretty good when they finally brought him in 3rd qrt.

I enjoyed watching this game. Both to check out Nevada, play them this coming Saturday, and check out Jerry Kill's debut. NMSU played with a lot of heart overall and the freshman QB was very impressive. Need better WRs however, way to many drops. The defense played very well. The wolfpack offense really didn't do much except when they recovered a turnover. Tough schedule ahead this year, but I can see you guys being pretty competitive in CUSA in the coming years.
