Wasn't Trump impeached for doing the same thing in 2019? The entire case was he shouldn't use his position of power to influence gaining damning information to benefit politically. They tried to remove a duly elected POTUS in defiance of democracy.

The claim was it is morally reprehensible that an administration should control a biased investigation in order to gain politically.

I have not seen anything yet to indicate that the Constitution is not being followed here. Also, the AG is not a political rival of trump per se, and this was signed off on by a judge. And as we know, the AG didn't rush into this, it was months long process.

And impeachment is not a criminal matter. This is. So there's no real comparison to the 1st impeachment Articles which were for Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress. The AG and judge aren't abusing any of their powers with what we currently know.

He is a weak man that was obviously not a good attorney and therefore has been in Government for most of his adult life. He was involved with the Unibomber case, which he touts as an accomplishment. The guys working the case had to insult his manhood for two days to get him to ask for the search warrant for the cabin, because he "didn't want to push it".
