On the other, what you clearly have (even from just the comments contained above) is a President who feels justified in holding on to documents that both he and the government seem to have knowledge about.... so a difference of legal opinion.

Obstruction? Only if you think he was lying about his belief.

I mean seriously, Tom... If a cop showed up at your door tomorrow and insisted that you give him access to your bank account... and you said 'no'... are you guilty of obstruction? Of course not. If one of your lawyers says you have to turn them over and the other says you don't... are you somehow BOUND by the one who does? If your neighbor is encouraging you to comply and you don't, is that too a crime??

These are what courts are for... and the left's hystrionics about 'classified information' and 'nuclear secrets' are just stupid.
