Pretty much only watch ECU sports for college except for the NCAA tournament. Not kidding when I say eliminate auto bids and I'm out completely. I lose interest in the tournament the second there's no Cinderella story left, usually don't watch the Final 4 games or only barely watch them, yet the first 4 days of the tournament are the best days in sports for me. The tournament is amazing, leave it the hell alone.

ALL those in agreement say-- "AYE"!!

Aye.

Nay. 1st round is mostly meh with a few exceptions (usually 7-10, 8-9 and for some reason 5-12). Good games in the 2nd round though.

First round will have a lot of bad games, but with there being multiple games on at a time in pretty much every window there's almost always a good game and almost always an underdog in any time slot putting up a good fight for me to get invested in. That's what I watch the tournament for, and that's what pretty much everyone I know watches it for aside from the UNC or Duke games (living in NC everyone I know is on one of those bandwagons). It's what makes it the best event in sports, what makes that Thursday and Friday such common days to fake being sick to call off work, and screwing with it would be the dumbest decision ever.
