1) The Russians did a lot of dying in WWII and without US Lend-Lease they would have done all that dying in Russia only. Tanks are great but when you don't have Fords and Packards bringing your troops and supplies up to the tanks they stop real quick, ask the Germans.

2) The international community didn't recognize mainland communist China till the 70's when Tricky Dick Nixon told them they could. Since then the CCP has used the umbrella of US disinterest to bully or bribe Taiwan into only being a de facto nation instead of also being a de jure one.

this isn’t the first time Roger Waters has strayed off the Globalist reservation. We will see if others in the realm of professional music/media/entertainment follow after him, or not.

Waters has always been nutty regarding politics. He even told an audience at a Pink Floyd concert if they didn't like his take on things to leave. Now that he's made his millions, he can afford to do that.

While I've always liked their music and shows, his views were never part of that, although his politics shows through the music he wrote for the band. I really don't pick favorite songs based on the meaning of their lyrics.
