There is a fluid war going on with a moving front and make shift supply lines. Does anyone think France actually knew where every piece of military equipment and bullet it owned was during the blitzkrieg? Did Russia know the location of every piece of equipment they sent North Vietnam? That crap was literally being carried in baskets by people in the jungle covered Ho Chi Minh Trail (Im sure all the paperwork was properly handled). Heck---do we have any idea where 25 billion in equipment we sent to Afghanistan is? The reality is the military aid is probably making it to the front---but many of the units being equipped at this point are volunteer and territorial type units---so Im sure the record keeping there is a joke. For instance, Ive watched videos where troops are unloading anti-tank missiles out of the trunks of cars right up near the front. Thats the supply chain they have.

The money I question is the economic and refugee aid. Where is THAT going?

Which is what I tried to explain earlier. Its getting to the front---its just difficult to account for exactly what happens to each piece of equipment due to the nature of the war there. Look, the oligarchs get wiped out if Russia wins, so its not in their interest to adversely influence the ability of their military to hold off Russia. Its the non-lethal aid (economic aid and refugee aid) that seems really ripe with the potential of being siphoned off by bad actors.

This is nothing new. I've read many clips regarding humanitarian aid being siphoned off by various warlords before it even reaches the intended target. Honestly, once the aid reaches the foreign country, there's nothing the US can do. I'm pretty sure this all applies to military arms aid as well.

I want to know how much of the money earmarked as aid for Ukraine made its way back into the pockets of Mitch, Chuck, Nancy, The Big Guy, and other politicians in DC.

Waste is part of any spending program in any large organization.

The larger the organization, the more the waste. Microsoft or General Motors probably waste 50% of their expenditures.

But in the end, it's better that Ukraine or Israel get 30% of "something" than 0% of "nothing."
