Lebron/Bronnie hypothetical
Let’s say Bronnie shoots up draft boards and is a high lottery pick. Would Lebron go to a bad team, ESPECIALLY if they can’t fit him under the cap? Or would Bronnie force his way to a contender who can afford his dad?

RE: Lebron/Bronnie hypothetical
Well, it wouldn't be unprecedented for a player to openly state they will not play for a team if they don't like who chose /will choose them. John Elway, Eric Lindros, Eli Manning, Steve Francis, and probably some others I'm forgetting.

Love: the only NBA player I remember doing that was Kobe.

RE: Lebron/Bronnie hypothetical
LeBron signed a two year extension today.
Now, wait to see if the expiring CBA will grant immediate draft eligibility for HS grads/18 year olds.

Brownie has zero college offers, one of the very few top 100 in the class who are uncommitted and has no offers. If the CBA is adjusted, watch Bronnie play for the G-League Ingite team THIS FALL, and the Lakers draft him in June 2023 because the Pelicans have the Lakers 2024 first rounder.

I remember Steve Francis doing that also. And look at him now: a typical, NBA draft bust!!!!

I wouldn't say Francis was a bust but he fell off a cliff. At worst, he was a disappointment.
