Three home games near beginning of season and then…

Outside of the lack of home games, I like the schedule. Given that we have no conference home, I don't know how much more we could have expected. There are a number of winnable games, plus several against power conference teams where we have an opportunity to make some noise. Go Cougars!

I am a little disappointed at how we have started the season. I thought we would be better than this.

But, we may have a new future star. Julieta Sandez is a 6-4 true freshman starting from the get-go.

No cause for alarm. Jacksonville State won this tourney and were 25-7 last season. In the Atlantic Sun they have 2 championships and a runner up in the last 3 seasons. They are a strong program.

Indiana State made the Volleyball NIT last year. While Indiana U is a low end Big 10 team who Chicago beat last season, and that win would have been nice for Tony and the ladies but losing one like that is not a sign of anything IMO.
