I think eventually all schools that stay at what we now call the 'FBS' level will be dealing with unionization, profit sharing, collective bargaining agreements - all of it.

The way football and men's basketball are headed I think they will effectively be operating minor league professional sports and should be treated / regulated as such.

Don't know how many schools will come along for this ride but I'd bet somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 of the current FBS schools will try to 'stay relevant'. The rest will throw in the towel and drop down / be left back.

Eventually, some of the schools that 'give it a go' will probably wave the white flag and drop down as well.

Football and men's basketball have been irrevocably changed and not for the better imo.

If the B1G and SEC go to 20 I think we end up in the new ACC (assuming the SEC's four comes from the ACC). If they go to 24, then I think the new third conference tries to go to 24 and we end up there. Right now I believe that if the B1G pushes to 20 then things are going to move really fast compared to past realignment.

Tigers will compete in the AAC. It is my hope they participate in the championship game most seasons, and that they win that game more often than not. Until there is a real national championship tournament and not an invitational exhibition the only thing any team can actually win is a conference championship. To the best of my knowledge the AAC has one of those.
