Good pickup. Will he be eligible for this season? I would think he’d be a projected starter depending on who you already got at that position and where he is in his development.

Good to go, but at Tarleton he'll have to earn the job. Lost our QB1 and 3rd-year starter due to some off-field discretions this Summer. Fills a huge need.

Duncan = Grad & (going into) 3rd year as starter. Behind him we have (had) 2 backups from Holy Cross and Oregon.

No doubt about that. Really good eye for RBs as well. From what I hear, best stable of RBs to ever come through the program. Big reason why I think they'll make some noise this year.

Gotcha I forgot Covid gave players an extra season. Duncan was red shirted at WKU in 2016. He was on roster for 2017 season and started 2018 and 2019. Next he came to Tarleton and played 2020 and 2021. By my calculations that is 5 seasons with Covid being a pass to make it four. How does he have any eligibility?

With that timeline sounds like he probably got an injury waiver for 2017 at WKU. He won't be enrolled at Tarleton this season, but definitely has 1 year of eligibility remaining.

Coach had a lot of good things to say about him after the first practice. Hope he stays healthy.
