I think Bert might have said Dobbs was hurt and physically unable to perform. There was a comment in a recruiting article early in the summer that Martin had left the program not sure about the other fellow.

I know you need to give a recruit a shot at the position in which he was recruited. But damn, Carter with his size would be a killer MLB, TE, or even a big RB. 6'3" 230# is big for a QB.
