Memphis @ Navy
Will be attending the Memphis @ Navy game on 9/10.
Anyone know where the "team hotel" is? I'm probably staying in DC.
And anyone know where our fans will be sitting?

The team hotel won't be in DC. If you go based off the "seating chart" section 32 will be where the fans sit. However, you may not have the "best seat" there. You'll be in a corner.

Yeah, I'm planning on going to that game too. I was a little surprised at being directed to the Navy site when I clicked on the "Tickets" link on gotigersgo.com website schedule. So, I ended up with 4 in section 130 because the site wasn't very easy to negotiate to determine where the visitor's section was or anything. But at least we'll be there - I'm looking forward to it.

Enjoy the game and the atmosphere around the stadium. Make sure you spend some time in the city prior to the game. Regardless, go have fun!!!

Attending our last game played at Army was an incredible experience; I loved it. I'm sure the experience at Navy will be equally amazing.

Took the fam in 2018. It was a blast even in a very wet, late game loss for us. We will be there this year too. In Section 31

For a change of pace

Stay at the Maryland Inn downtown or the Scoutlaur inn. A small B and B dedicated to chick and Ruth who owned the Chick and Ruth Deli. The deli still exists but it is under new ownership

The actual people, Chick and Ruth were local legend and their son continued the tradition until he sold a few years ago. Still worth it

Or stay on Kent Island. Enjoy Red Eyes or The Jetty over there

The Scotlaur is no The Inn on Main. I hope to stay there in October when I go for a Claiborne family reunion. I am descended from William Claiborne of Kent Island.

So, you recommend The Inn on Main? It is cheaper than the Maryland Inn

RE: Memphis @ Navy
I was there in 2018 with my daughter from D.C. It was an utterly amazing experience every American should have. To see what seemed like thousands of cadets file into the stadium in uniform in their regiments (?) was spine chilling, and at the end everyone was on their feet cheering. We Tigers cheered mightily for them...before the game. There was no flyover since that game was rainy, but I am sure that would be incredible, too.

Be sure to spend some time to explore Annapolis, which has more historic, and very old, buildings than any city in America. Visit the wharf and eat in one of the many taverns and restaurants by the water. Visit some of the historic houses, the courthouse, and by all means, if you have time, take the tour of the Naval Academy. And bring us back a win!

I will be there in October for a family reunion of the descendants of the founder of Kent Island, William Claiborne; otherwise, I would probably be at this game.

It's a long traffic filled trek from anywhere inside the loop to Annapolis. Are you flying in or driving? BWI would be your best bet if flying.
