This is great news if he does return. I haven’t heard anybody talk about what the Tigers will do if Davis were to go down even if only a few games…. what about when he gets in foul trouble…do we even have a backup point? Guess we would be living with J Lawson running the show (or trying)…

But if he does, the weird stressing that he will be welcome as a backup, when the reality is he will be one of the most important players on this team, and am sure he will welcome playing with a guard with the talent of Davis, is sad

Agreed. I think he's the prototype for a backup PG. Good ball handler, decent defender, decent passer, plays hard, but just can't shoot. He'll prob size up better with other team's backup PG too.
