Coaching changes
Brandon Crisp was named head volleyball coach on July 15, 2022. He replaced Jordan Lay who resigned in May to accept an assistant coaching position at Mississippi State.

Lamar adds 3 coaches to the Soccer staff on August 2.

Kurt Albrecht (Asst Coach) - Head coaching experience at Millsaps College and Illinois College
Colton Bryant (Asst Coach) - Assistant coach at Jackson State; former head coach at Columbia State CC; former assistant at Nashville Rhythm of the Women's Premier Soccer League
Kelsey Brann (Grad Asst) - Played at University of West Florida and University of North Texas
