Keep Your Ears Open at the End of July....
The SEC holds its media days in the third week and the B1G in the fourth week. These are ideal times to introduce the delegations of new members like USC and UCLA, and even a better time when all eyes are upon each conference to meet their audience with big news, or end it that way to keep the press engaged. That news could be details on media deals, conference payout totals, or to announce new additions.

I'm not promising it will be the latter, but we've essentially been rumor and press release free for 4 days. And the brakes on PAC / B12 talks seemed odd. No harm in talking, unless something else has come up.

I have to agree that the silence has started to become deafening.

Plus the end of the window for PAC.

-Stopping at 2 on the west coast seems odd (to me)
-UCLA out of CA with not a whimper of politics seems odd
-Schools being known to have applied and it not be a "yes" seems odd
-Other schools seemingly knowing right away they are "no" odd

It it is almost like BIG/FOX wanted to create max possible fear and uncertainty in order to get the mountain 4 or mountain 4 + OSU/WSU to leave and end the PAC12, leaving the BIG no choice but to rescue Stanford, Cal, UW, Oregon, while also dissolving the conference and retaining the PAC brand for a division in the BIG

My foil hat is on tight tonight
