If that happens then 10 left in the PAC12 plus the 12 from the new BIG12 = 22. Which 4 teams don't get into this new conference? I assume both conferences have the votes to dissolve themselves to avoid buyout and the like.....
Would Cincy, BYU, Houston, and UCF not be a part of the 18 team merger?

If you actually clicked on the article, you would have saw where it said Oregon and Washington joined talks with the four corner schools.
