Possibly, although I think there's a vast majority of folks who watch NCAAF for betting purposes only. Only game I watch because I care is Tigers. I'll still watch 10-12 games a Saturday for gambling purposes. Sure I'm not the only kind of viewer like that.

So far college football is a third-rail issue.

It is political suicide to touch it.

But sooner or later either the courts or the federal government are going to take action.

No AG dared to file anti-trust action against the major conferences.

Because the schools are too connected.

But there is only so much that could go on before someone with political clout and no fear of backlash steps up and does something.

An even worst scenario is Congress gets involved and decides to regulate it as interstate commerce.

Do you really want the FTC to regulate college sports?

AntiTrust issue?

Loss of tax exempt status?

Without revenue sharing how many colleges close down programs or become a version of Rhodes college?

How long before the LB renovation and South Campus upgrades get cancelled?

If this happens as speculated I will not be a tv consumer of the super leagues.
