Rolleyes Mens basketball
Watching practice. Emoni shooting good if he releases the ball on the way up or at the top of his jump. If he releases late or on the way sure miss. They are doing something like a shoot around. Not much rhythm should be playing music. Was going to introduce myself to coach but he's busy. Haven't met him yet

I take your post to mean that Emoni is signed but his signing hasn't been released yet by the university. Otherwise he wouldn't be eligible to work in an organized team activity.

I have no ideas didn't talk to coach it may not have been him. I haven't seen him in person in 8-10 years. But talking to others I got the impression that he was here. On other news I watched for over 1/2 hour. My impression and concerns are. They being the ball to waist most of the time after catching it. Steal time. Also they don't catch and shoot. The catch the ball shuffle feet then shoot. Also when the do shoot most of the time the bring ball down to waist again and use the motion of bringing the ball up to shoot. Again time to steal the ball. The ball shouldn't come below the armpits to help prevent steals.

I think you may have spent 30 minutes watching someone that was not Emoni.

Wrong. Suggest you watch Steph Curry. Longer you see the hoop the better. Don’t see Curry’s having ball stolen.

And if it were Emoni and Emoni has not signed, not good. P.S. Doubt Stan would do something as dumb as that.

You’re correct that he should shoot going up. If he dipped upper torso a tad more that would help him shoot going up, and he’ll shoot with his legs more. Both vital to a good shot. It’s one reason Noah improved his three point shot as much as he did last season.

He didn't have a number slightly shorter than coach. Slim build.

Not into Bates so I don't know how tall he is. But the player Stan was helping was around the same. I was up in the nest so I really couldn't tell unless they were really close together. So if he's 6'9" he could have been with second group that came out about 15 minutes later.

So going by that in the olden days (can't believe I'm using that phrase) he would be a 2 or a big 3. Well we have a 6'3" guard on the women's team. I remember our center were mostly 5'10" or 5'11".
